What to Expect
When you first come to WOW you will be taken care of by one of our liaison and Chiropractic Assistants. They will be there to initially guide you through your entrance forms. Alternatively, you can download the entrance forms from here. The form details information about you, your health history and your goals.
Consultation and Examination
You will then have your consultation. The consultation process is designed to see if we can actually help you here at our office! The Chiropractic Assistant will take a digital photo of your posture.The chiropractor will take a case history and do a physical examination including a postural evaluation, ROM, orthopaedic testing, neurological testing and a chiropractic examination.
After all of the above testing, the chiropractor will determine if you would benefit from having x-rays taken on site. These would then be taken and the first part of the consultation process ends there. You will then have a second visit called a report of findings or ROF.
Report of Finding (ROF)
On this visit, the chiropractor will go through your exam findings, your posture and your x-rays (if taken). The chiropractor will discuss with you whether they feel we can help you at WOW. If we can’t help you, we will help you through the appropriate referral process. If we do feel that we can help you at WOW, the chiropractor will go through 4 things with you:
- What they have diagnosed as the cause of your problem.
- What they feel the solution involves.
- How long it will take to see results.
- How much it is likely to cost.
